Leakers into Keepers and Lines into Vines

Ever wonder what happens to all of those worn out waders?  Not exactly thrift store or donation material.  How about the last time you were in your local fly shop to replace that worn out fly line, ever notice that colorful tangled mess of fly lines in the round file?

Both waders and fly lines are very hard to recycle due to the coatings, fabrics, etc. Instead of these items ending up in an Alaskan Landfill to be mined in the future, you can now have them be repurposed!

AlaskaGuideList is excited to announce a partnership with Recycled Waders and FlyVines to repurpose your old waders and fly lines.

Beginning in December, a select group of Alaska Fly Shops will be authorized as drop off points for recycling and will have repurposed waders and fly lines for you to purchase locally. For you folks outside of Alaska, you are encouraged to participate by visiting Recycled Waders and FlyVines websites to learn how you can have your old waders and fly lines repurposed.

Anyone in Alaska who doesn’t have easy access to a local Alaska Fly Shop, is welcome to send those old waders and fly lines directly to us, via the shipping information below.
